Tiramisu is a delicious but filling italian dessert. Please consider the suggested health tip, if you like to make this tasty pudding a little lighter.

2 eggs
50g sugar
250g mascarpone
(health tip: 125g mascarpone / 125g quark)
ca. 15 sponge (or lady) fingers
250ml cold espresso
amaretto (If you like it, but it is not necessary)
cocoa powder

Rectangular bowl

 

Divide the eggs.
Beat egg yolks and sugar until the mixture becomes white.
Add mascarpone and stir until creamy.
Add 2 teaspoons of amaretto. 
Whisk egg white stiff and fold under mascarpone cream.
Dip carefully half of the sponge finger in the espresso.
(If you like add 2 tablespoons of amaretto to the espresso before
dipping the sponge fingers)
Place sponge fingers in the bowl.
Cover them with the mascarpone mixture.
Dust the surface with cocoa.
Leave in fridge for at least 8 hours.
